MURALS

MUSEUM

Operated by the Chemainus Valley Historical Society, their mission is to promote research, preserve records, and be the guardians of the rich cultural heritage of Chemainus.

CHEMAINUS PUBLIC MARKET

The Chemainus Public Market is filled with food establishments, boutique artisan shops, vintage items, and even an arcade. Visitors can immerse themselves in the towns unique culture and indulge in an array of delectable foods, handcrafted goods, trinkets, and takeaways at this delightful marketplace.

MARKETS AND EVENTS

Throughout the year we host a multitude of events. We are a bright and lively town that likes to celebrate with family-friendly gatherings, no matter the occasion. Wednesday Markets are held in Waterwheel Park seasonally and feature a large artisanal offering of local wares and handmade objects. Our big summer market attracts visitors from Victoria and Nanaimo as well as other communities on Vancouver Island.
