CHEMAINUS MUSEUM
The Chemainus Museum is operated by the Chemainus Valley Historical Society and is located in the beautiful Waterwheel Park in the heart of Chemainus. Their mission is to " To promote and sponsor research and knowledge about, and to publish, record, restore, preserve and maintain interest in: information, data, records, cairns, plaques, buildings, sites, boundaries and locations of, or pertaining to, the history of the Chemainus Valley and its geographical historical boundaries."

HISTORY
Chemainus was built on trees, more specifically the timber industry in the late 1850s. More currently known for the plethora of murals and other local art in town. To learn more about Chemainus' history please visit the Chemainus Museum website here.
